Information on the Fuel Mix composition

The Decree of the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security No. 224 of July 14, 2023 requires electricity sales companies to provide End Customers with information regarding the composition of the mix of primary energy sources used for the production of electricity supplied in the previous year, including with reference to each individual contract.

Information on the composition of the energy mix used for electricity production is based on the distinction between the following sources:

  • Renewable sources
  • Natural gas
  • Coal
  • Petroleum products
  • Nuclear
  • Lignite
  • Other sources

The composition of the energy mix relating to the energy sold by sales companies in the reference year is expressed as a percentage of the energy sold for each source relative to the total amount of electricity sold by the company in the same year.

Deloa Energy intends to offer its End Customers exclusively green offers, i.e., contracts for which all electricity sold is commercially defined as energy produced by plants powered by renewable sources.

For this reason, Deloa Energy is committed to procuring a quantity of Guarantees of Origin (GO) — the document that certifies to End Customers the share of electricity produced from renewable sources — equal to the energy sold under all green offers, based on the measurement data of the electricity withdrawn by End Customers under individual contracts, as reported by the distributors.

Since Deloa Energy began its operations in 2026, data for the year 2025 regarding its own energy mix is not available. Therefore, only the values relating to the composition of the national energy mix used for the production of electricity fed into the power system are reported, as disclosed by the Energy Services Manager (GSE) with reference to the year 2025 and published on June 29, 2026.
